What are your favorite vendors for Watch Straps?

So I was just sending some of my watch crew buddies a list of a number of watch strap vendors who I have purchased from over the course of the last several years (I excluded Amazon, Aliexpress, and eBay which are obvious potential markets for straps).

Here's the list I sent them:

Strapsco: https://strapsco.com/

Windup Watch Shop: Windup Watch Shop – Timeless & Modern Watches

Strapcode: https://www.strapcode.com/

WatchGecko: Watch Straps: Luxury Leather, Metal, NATO & Dive Watch Bands

Vario: https://vario.sg/

Cheapest NATOs: https://www.cheapestnatostraps.com/

Wabistraps: Wabistraps | One-Stop Watch Band Center for All Your Watch Strap Needs

Holben's: Watch Straps | Holben's Fine Watch Bands

Tropic: Tropic strap - Home - The best watch strap ever for a dive watch

Caseback Watches: Caseback Watches Shop

Monstraps: https://monstraps.com/

I know there are a lot more.

Let us know who you buy straps from - tell me what I'm missing.

I have several from Crown & Buckle and am quite happy with them (especially the Chevron single pass nylon)

Bulang & Sons, Molequin, and @MycroftTime hit Crown & Buckle

also Gunny Straps for my Panerais besides OEM straps

and a couple of others like: M75KPLIM and Zsir straps on IG

Excellent - thanks for those recommendations.

Really like Strap Guides at Bulang & Sons.

Molequin is definitely on the higher end of the strap purchasing spectrum - reminds me of HODINKEE.

Jean-Rousseau, Strap Tailor and Watchgecko

Thank you!

I had not heard of Jean-Rousseau previously - great site for those who want to be 100% Non-Leather as they have a special section for those straps. Very cool.

I forgot to mention Strap Tailor - they did that great fundraiser for support for Ukraine. Haven't worn that NATO yet - will have to find a watch to pair it with soon.

WatchGecko is great - they definitely made my list.

Cheapest NATOs is great isn't it - I love going there for my unusual sizes like 17mm, 19mm, 21mm and 23mm. Purchased many straps on their site.

Thanks for sharing the other suggestions as well.

I like the way Gunny Straps organizes by brand - really helpful to get ideas.

Couldn't find M75KPLIM. And Zsir looked like it only had one strap on the web site. Possibly I'm failing to find the right location.

I got 3 straps from Artem plus a deployant clasp. Love them all! 😍

Also got 3 straps from Barton. I really enjoy them so much too! 😉

that reminded me of another really great German watch strap maker - RIOS1931

Di-Modell is another German strap maker with nice straps at reasonable prices.  I'm anxious to try Rios1931 - several cool straps available and look fine.

Check out this blue RIOS1931 croc strap I swapped onto my vintage 1947 salmon dial Minvera:

This post has my favorites.  I have a strap from new (to me) custom strap maker, so I'll update after it arrives.

You also mentioned Etsy and I forgot to share my favorite Etsy strap maker from Vietnam: https://www.etsy.com/shop/Vinacreations3

You know how stiff the straps are for Orient Bambinos and how they look a little plasticy - well check out the transformation using one of Vinacreations green crocodile straps on this Orient Bambino Version 4:

Also, I swapped out the crappy black strap on my Timex Marlin for a beautiful black croc:

Both croc straps were only $32 each - great upgrade to these watches for a very reasonable price.

Great thread - handy to learn all these options 🍻

BluShark is my favorite website for NATO's.  Multi strap discounts can be combined with discount codes to bring the per-strap price way down.  They also throw in spring bar tools for free with multi strap orders.

A bit late but I feel its relevant enough info. CWC sell straps as well as their Field Watches. They're selling original spec NATO's, Pass through Bunds and Waxed Leather straps. I've bought a couple of straps from them I'll update if they're decent quality

·

Recently came across my friend's company, www.tannerystraps.com , saw the products IRL looks pretty decent.
