Delugs Misleading advertising and lack of customer support Review

Hello everyone,

I would like to share with you all my frustrating experience with the Delugs Straps Company.

I bought a "Caramel Saffiano Stitchless" strap to use on my Cartier Tank Must Large but, as you can see in the photo, the leather and the spring bar on the supplied strap are much thicker and it doesn't fit into the watch's lugs.

That is particularly frustrating because they created an entire guide for the same watch that also includes the same "Saffiano Stitchless" strap.

I am trying to contact them since I received the straps using all the emails I could gattered:

Nobody bothers to reply to me.

So, here is my experience with this company. I hope it helps you all to make a better decision about your strap supplier.

UPDATE: After posting my complaint on social media (here and on Facebook). They removed my comment on Facebook and then replied to one of my e-mails.

They suggested a workaround for the thick strap (the reply was actually very didactic). I already tried that approach before contacting them, but still having some communication with them was nice. The problem on the spring bar was still there and that was making the strap slip from the watch.

Then my wife mentioned something very wise, "remember, the watch is expensive but the strap not that much".... That was nice to hear (permission to destruct, conceded!).

So, I forced the removal of the supplied spring bar and put another that came in my watch repair kit, they are not a quick-release model but do the trick of keeping the strap in place.

Final thoughts:

The leather is very good and the delivery was fast. Despise this frustrating experience, I still can recommend Delugs as long as you don't need anything more specific. I also bought another strap for another watch and I didn't have any issue with that one.
