Best watch strap websites

What is everyones favorite site to buy watch straps on (besides Amazon)?  I’ve been looking around online and there are so many options, but I’m reluctant to buy anything since they all seem so similar.

I use Martu Leather from Chile.  The quality is outstanding for the price.  She will make any custom size, length, colour, etc. with no upcharge for the custom work.  I just ordered a couple Martu Straps yesterday.

·

Barton based in Texas, I think.  Good service to Canada and I like their premium 2-tone rubber straps.

·

I try to follow the rule that I will not spend more for the strap than for the watch. Because I am so miserly I buy a good bit from Cheapest NATO Straps. They take awhile to ship from Sweden but I have always been satisfied.

  1. B&R Bands (www.bandrbands.com)
  2. Erika's Originals (www.erikasoriginals.com)
  3. Moose Straps (www.moosestrap.com)
  4. The Watch Steward (www.thewatchsteward.com)
  5. Nick Mankey Designs (www.nickmankeydesigns.com)
  6. Theo & Harris (www.theoandharris.com) - My go-to for leather straps
  7. Artem (www.artemstraps.com) - specifically for sailcloth

Keep in mind that I really like parachute straps and use them on a lot of my watches, which is why most of these make the list. I don't buy a lot of leather straps. I second the recommendation on Barton for the rubber straps. I have a few of those.

Is T&H leather strap really high quality? It's >$120 IIRC

Crown and Buckle for NATOs.

Holben's for leather.

Tough for me to compare as I don't wear a lot of leather straps, so I haven't shopped around much. I have the Mojave Ostrich for my Oris Big Crown Pointer Date and so far, so good. Matches the watch great and is really supple and comfortable. One of the reasons I recommend them is I like their selection. They seem to have a wide array of colors and styles that fit my watches. But I don't have a single chronograph in my collection, so I am not that interested in rally straps or things like that. I like a dressier look. Given that I go back and forth between the OEM bracelet and the leather, the band hasn't taken a lot of  wear or abuse so also hard to say how it will hold up over time.

The Hodinkee leather straps are as expensive or more so and I would be hesitant to get a leather strap under $50 as I would question the quality and longevity. But that could be my ignorance speaking.

BluShark is my favorite. Other include, watchgecko and bulang and sons.

·

Panatime is a great site. Nice and very reasonable !

·

Depending on where you are from there are more or less good options.

For EU I would definitely recommend "Watchbandit". Great straps for reasonable prices. Have a lot of their straps.

·

For leather I usually go on Etsy or order from Ashland leather, but I do have a nubuck strap from Monstraps that I like. For fabric I'd highly recommend Strapbandits. For Nylon/Nato I really like crown and buckle. CheapestNatoStraps has good variety for fun straps, but I've been disappointed in the quality of the hardware. I'm pretty interested in both Erika's Originals and Lunar watch straps, but I haven't had any in-hand experience with them so I can't speak to their quality

I like Alpine watch straps - I got this "KillBill" style for my Timex timepiece with yellow 2nd hand:

For my money, I really like Barton's line of  Elite Silicone straps.  They are far superior to their Soft Silicone line which use, in my opinion, substandard hardware.  It's worth the few extra bucks to get the upgrade.  For the price, I think Barton is hard to beat.  I've purchased a number of leather straps from them, too.  Also, good for the price.

I purchased a leather strap from WatchGecko.  The quality was decent, but I don't think it was worth the price I paid (close to $50).

Big +1 on Moose Straps for their premium slim NATOs.  The NATOs were awesome and their customer service was unbeatable.  I ordered some NATOs a year ago that didn't arrive for 2 weeks so I emailed Moose Straps and asked if they could check on the status. They replied by letting me know that they sent replacement straps by express post and that I could keep the originals if they ever arrived.

+1 on Holbens (large selection of straps from various brands) and Barton too.

FYI, according to the US postal service, my original Moose Straps order got stuck in customs for weeks and the postal service told me the only thing I could do was wait. Risks of shipping across intl. borders

Just had a terrible experience with B&R watch bands - won't be buying from them ever again!
