Which watch in your collection do you wear the most? And which one do we wear the least?

Curious to see what your answers are. There are some amazing collections from folks here at WatchCrunch and I’m curious to know which watch you wear the most often, and which watch you wear the least.

And for both, leave a comment as to why.

Image

For me, the watch I wear most often is the Omega Seamaster 300. It is, by far, the most comfortable watch I own - better than the Sub, better than the GS White Birch. It just feels effortless.

As for the watch I wear the least, it is my Stowa Chronograph. While it holds a place in my heart for sentimental reasons (it was the first watch I bought after getting a “real” job after graduating uni), it doesn’t fit with my lifestyle anymore. I’ve also come to notice how thick it is. It often gets caught in my sleeve.

So, those are mine. What are your most and least worn watches?

I know the least…

It’s obvious from my wrist shots that I lean towards my PD1667, probably because it was my first automatic (not counting an irreplaceable heirloom Lanco) and my entry point into taking my interest more seriously. (The Titanium Accurist was my first ‘old man’ watch lol — picked it out of the Argos catalogue because I really wanted something in Titanium. Had no idea till a couple of weeks ago that it’s technically a homage to the Speedmaster Date by Omega. Don’t think theirs is in Ti though)

In terms of the least, it’s going to be the ones hardest to replace or that are more fragile — so the afore mentioned Lanco, or my Casio Commander. But arguably even less than those are the novelty watches — also in one case near impossible to replace, but mainly cos they don’t suit me when oit and about. I haven’t even done a wrist shot for my Game Boy watch, I keep forgetting when whimsical Wednesday is coming up.

Currently, the watch I am wearing the most is my new Rangemaster. It may be the honeymoon phase, but I am really liking this watch!

Image

The one I wear the least is this Relic Skeleton. I don't even have a picture of me wearing it. I will never get rid of it, because it was a gift from my wife, but I am not really a fan of it.

I've accumulated a lot of watches over a lot of years and rotate on a daily basis so it's too hard for me to answer. Great problem to have👍

·

I wear a Tissot 33mm P80 the most because its small and I hardly know its on. All the others almost never get put on as they are either too big and heavy or too hard to read at a glance. Although being retired I do like a day/date because they are all saturdays now and tend to run together.

·

A beginner (= not many watches) so I try to rotate every day...I reach for these the most

My first Rolex is probably the favourite as I got it for my 40th birthday sub date ,the least used is a baume Mercier chrisma,it was a 50th birthday present so am reluctant to sell ,it was bought as a dress watch but never used as the sub does the job

My daily wearer has been the Timex M79 Hype Beast.  I really love this watch and can easily be my only watch.  With a collection of about 90, I really will have to figure out which one gets the least amount of love.  It's funny all these watches and I have been wearing nothing but the Hypebeast and the Marlin 95% of the time.

·

I swap watches every day so each gets equal wear time.

·

Most frequent wear based on percentage of opportunity days (I'm a data nerd, so of course I keep track) is the Glycine. Comfortable, Swiss, Automatic.

Image

Least?

Since I have a few that are out of commission for various reasons, I'll stick to wearable pieces.

It's a tie between these two.

Image

Why? They were NOS I picked up earlier this year and as such, the plastic bands are degrading, they don't balance the watch head at all and they are TALL. Mostly just decorations rather than watches.

·

First gen Mako or,UnoMako I call her, and Islander Bayport are my daily drivers. Citizen Eco-Chrono the least. Mainly because it's a 43mm and I'm just not feeling the size anymore. 42mm is starting to feel kinda big for some reason. I don't count the Bulova HD CrashWatch as a wearing piece, it'll never be worn again.

·

This is my default if I don't know what to put on:

Image

My least worn watch is a blatant 62MAS clone I bought for $30, just to find out if I like that style of watch.

·

the lollypop seconds hand on the omega looks phenomenal

·

It really varies week-to-week or month-to-month. Currently, my most worn watch is my Longines Master Collection simply because I‘ve been going into the office lots recently.

Image

Outside the office, my BB58 has dominated my wrist time.

Image

My least worn, currently, is my Orient Kamasu because it’s kind of my summer watch… and it’s dead winter now in my part of the world.

·

My most worn watch is definitely my IWC Mark XV. It’s just so comfortable with it’s 38mm and phenomenal bracelet. Also only gains a few seconds a week, so it’s easy to throw on without having to reset.

Image

My least worn watch is unfortunately also my most recent acquisition. It’s the Oris Aquis Tungsten, maybe I’m just not a dive watch guy after all.

Indeed! I love that lollipop seconds hand!

Cartier tank the most. Rotating with Rolex Day Date, Christopher Ward Bel Canto, Cartier Santos, Omega Seamaster Pre Bond.

Image

I wear this the least of the ones that fit me. It’s cool but the seamaster is very similar and cooler. I have a JLC Albatros, a Credor and a Gerard Peregeux with bracelets that are too long but tricky to shorten - so I guess those get even less wear!

That’s the Solarbeat right? I have the same. And I love it! It’s surprisingly versatile!

I wear my SBGA413 🌸 & SLGH005 White Birch Grand Seiko‘s the most as of right now, and my Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue is the watch I wear the least.

I love my GS white birch. It’s probably the watch that gets the second most wear in my rotation of watches. Super comfy.

Most: currently my GS SBGX261 (but it is still quite new to me) but it's just so easy to put on and wear in any situation and the more one wears it the more one loves it.

Image

Least: I'm currently on a phase of offloading watches I seldom wear but this Dan Henry 1939 I very seldom wear but cannot get rid of as it was a surprise gift from my wife - it's not that I don't like it - I do - it might be because I'm a snob? Although looking at the pic makes me want to wear it again...

Image

Yeah it’s always nice to have a trust quartz in the collection that you can just easily pick up and wear. Love it!

My Tudor Ranger actually gets the most wrist time out of my watches, it's just so darn comfortable and a very worry-free wearing experience.

Sadly, my JLC Reverso DuoFace gets the least amount of wrist time.  I'm learning I loved the idea of the watch more than I love the ownership of it.  I am actually thinking about selling it.  Doesn't' make sense for me to keep something of that value if I don't wear it or enjoy it the way I thought I would.

Yeah I’ve always loved the Reverso, but never pulled the trigger on one because I suspected I loved the idea of one more than actually having and wearing one.

Virtually a go anywhere do anything watch. Just add a Casio for jogging and paintball.

I love my GS white birch. It’s probably the watch that gets the second most wear in my rotation of watches. Super comfy.

It really is a super comfortable watch. I think the wider bracelet helps the watch sit better on the wrist. And the case shape is also stellar. Worn & Wound says it best: “The height, which is on the reserved side for a GS, is also mitigated by the cleverly curved lugs that wrap around the wrist, making the watch hug tight.“

·
BillableHours

Yes, it does! Just another reason why I love it so much. It has a push button on the fly micro adjust built into the clasp. Heres a picture of it fully extended.

Image

I thought so!  I wish my Railmaster had a micro adjustment on the fly.  If it had I might have kept it on the bracelet.

Image

Entering my first Winter as an almost everyday watch wearer at the young age of hmmachmlgh, I am realizing there is truly a remarkable switch in my wearing patterns, from nearly all my watches, depending on mood, to basically all plastic AE1200s and my gentlebeater Eco Drive titanium when going out. Nothing to worry about from metal buttons on heavy coat sleeves. Least?  A magic purple Sanda analog-digital-- still love it though.

·

I keep my rotation of three watches fairly even but the Submariner is the one I reach for the most.

Least my G-Shock.

·

Most worn is my Smiths Everest 36mm and Least worn Sinn 104 . Love them both but to be honest with no day or date to set , its easier to grab and go .

·

Most worn: Tudor BB58

Least: Casio F-91. I usually keep one of these in all my backpacks as a backup in case I forget to wear a watch But that never happens lol

·

Solid backup watch.

·

Love that Omega beyond love. And yes, they are crazy comfortable.

Most:  Right now, my Orient Ray 2 hits the spot. Before that, the Yema MN.

Least:  Rarely wear my vintage Roger Moore/Bond Seiko (6923-8080) though I love it.

Most: Tandorio sterile 36mm, NH 35, sapphire, 200m, +5/day, sinnfully comfortable. I just find it on my wrist all the time. Happiness for $55. I'm a high-quality, cheap watch sl*t, no shame.

Least: Certina Blue Ribbon. It's gorgeous and built like a tank but 200 grams is too much.
