Traska Venturer GMT - what colour to get?

I’ve been obsessed with the Traska Venturer GMT. It seems to be the complete package. My favourite complication (GMT)? Check. Appropriately sized? Check. On the fly bracelet adjustment? Check.

I feel like a hypocrite because I’ve mentioned before how I hate the helium escape valve on the Seamaster Professional. But yet, somehow on the Traska, the crown for the GMT inner bezel does not bother me at all!

My only question now is: what colour to get? Their order window opens again this weekend. So I’d love some thoughts on which colour to get. Anyone else have experience with the Venturer GMT? Share your photos below!

Personally, I’m torn between the blue and the white. But I can see the appeal of the black lacquered dial too. The only one I’m not interested in is the “green” which doesn’t look all that green to me.

That blue is stunning

I sold my green Venturer so that would be my last pick. Voted for white. Traska makes a great watch, love my new Summiteer!

Why did you sell it? What did you pick up in replacement of it? Any insights on the Venturer? Good, bad, and ugly?

Good questions. I sold it because I prefer my quartz GMT - don’t need to reset it like an automatic watch.

Also wasn’t fond of the green dial. But great quality craftsmanship and finishing. I still love Traska and bought the new Summiteer.

Owned the blue. Great watch but expect would have kept the green. Instead the blue has a new owner.

Preferences based on real-world photos: green, white, black then blue

Dude, why are you notifying people with a post. It's cool to ask what color even though we don't know what color you sold get, but the less attention you bring to the opportunity, the more likely we get what we want, and isn't that really more important. Lower your voice, or everyone is going to set an alarm to get in line. Make the post 5 hours into after You've already placed your order. Have some respect for those of us who want to get in front of everyone else. 😉

I'm Jk with you, lol

Answer:

First choice: White

Second choice: Blue

Already own the green.

My alter ego who wants more watches for himself says you should get the green or black one and save the white and blue for him.

I am interested in the green precisely because it does not look deep green. It looks black or midnight blue from different angles. I do not like the HEV look to it.
