Let’s Play a Game
Since I really enjoy listening to everyone’s opinions I want to make a quick game that consists in:
Imagine u have to buy a watch right now for u, one for a person u love, one for one person who u work with, one for someone u dislike and one for an idol.
The trick is that the watch u had to buy was the first one that comes in your mind when u think about that person :)
Which Watches would they be?
This game can be played either with a money limit or not but I will let it up for u to decide ;)
I would really like to know everyone’s answers about which watch relates to each person (and maybe a backstory why).

My boss would get an Frankenwatch Mod from Southeast Asia purchased on eBay that hasn't seen a service since the last century.
Cartier Tank Solar for the person I love, Citizen Eco-Drive Chandler or Corso for work colleague, MVMT for person I dislike, and Casio A168 for idol. A really nice watch for the person I love (my wife came to mind), a nice Citizen Eco-Drive watch for a colleague at work is an appropriate level gift, an MVMT drop-ship special is technically a watch, and an icon for an idol. 😜

Coworker (date): Cartier Santos steel bezel. Most non-watch dorks don't care about magnetic resistance and don't jerk off to movement specs. Cartier is a universal brand name that most people are familiar with. It wears well with everything and has an amazing strap that can be adjusted by any idiot without tools.
Love (marry): Rolex Date 15200. Not hyped, reasonably priced used, and just classic. Small enough for women, can be worn by men universally. Straight class.
Hate (kill): MVMT. They literally just copy other brands with crap quality. Yet, their marketing is brilliant and if you didn't know anything about watches... like AT ALL... might be able to pass off as a "nice" gift.

Well I loved the Cartier Tank idea as well as the Casio… but I feel sorry for the person who is receiving a MVMT watch 🥲😅

I'd save a crapload of time and money and go to the Timex website - get a Q panda chrono for me, the Snoopy tennis reissue for my daughter, the Timex x Nigel Cabourn for my boss, an ugly Waterbury Ocean X for someone I dislike, and a Waterbury Traditional Automatic for my dad/idol.
