My First Watch

It looks like a perfect size in my opinion, that dial is looking amazing, as per usual from Seiko.  Looks comfortable on wrist 👍🏻 Came out the gate swinging for a first piece! 

I have one and I love it it fits comfortably on my wrist and the dial is amazing! The only thing is the very small date dial wheel is too small i wish they just left it out honestly but otherwise it’s a great watch. I don’t use the GMT functions since I don’t need it, I just liked the fact it’s red on my watch and it gives a pop of color 😜...

Both deserve the Seiko.  Skip the Tag.  IMHO.  

Great choice.  I was looking at these too.  What’s not to love?  28800 vph movement, true/traveler’s gmt functionality and killer looks for around $1200.

Thank you so much! I fell in love with this watch the first time I saw it in Teddy Baldasare’s video with Kevin O’Leary … specially that dial 😍. It‘s little bit heavy but super comfortable! 

Only too big if it feels like it’s wearing you. Looks  great. 

Looks great, I think it's the white dial that pops and makes it look larger than it is. 👍

Have to agree with the date dial but at least, in my opinion, it makes the watch feel more balanced.

I initially thought about buying the blue one with the copper GMT hand, but I felt that over time the white one would be more “neutral”.

That textured dial restores my faith in humanity. Size wise, looks pretty dang good. 

you begin with a very qualitative watch. congratulations for this acquisition. 👍 At the first view the size didn't shocked me.

Some are soft and wear faster but it's a trade off for comfort. They have stronger ones that will last a long time but not as comfortable. Some on sale under 5 bucks. I buy lots for the variety. 

Love those, and definitely not too big for you. I've been thinking of getting one of those, but I don't really have a use for a GMT.

White dial really pops 👌I prefer black dials in general but sometimes white dial looks just right 💯

Well at the time I also don’t have any use for the GMT hand😅 but I think it looks very cool!

If you are planning to buy one be careful with the Seiko QC because my bezel was slightly off centered when I bought it!

Thats a solid watch , a good first choice , great dial.  I think it would look great on a rubber strap.

Well, I had been suggested a nato strap, but if you have any suggestion of  a brand that sells good quality rubber straps I would really appreciate it!

It's amusing that we have similar tastes in watches. Just now I saw a post about the Dornblüth and the Seiko Presage you are wearing looks very similar to mine (only without the GMT).
