Boring but phenomenal watch.

What do you think?🤔

The only reason its "boring" is that there are so many homages, copies and clones.

I use to be a huge Submariner fan, but all the homages made the design so ubiquitous I grew tired of it.

Not boring. Classic. And the picture most people have in their minds when they hear the word “watch”

I agree 🙂

·

Not my kind of Rolex but I do love Vienna!

·

Not boring at all. Who cares that it's been copied so much? Doesn't take away from the real thing. Enjoy your Sub! Mine is a forever watch I'm proud to wear.

·

Not boring, and not wrong. It’s dynamite.

To be fair, the Submariner looks kinda bland.

·

Nicest watch of alll

I enjoy it very much and I’ll keep mine forever too👍

It's obviously a subjective opinion, but I'd have to agree that it isn't exactly what I'd call an "exciting" watch. But then again, very few are.

·

It's a classic. Love the watch and the background!

·

Always classic.

Honestly this Grand Seiko SBGA201 has knocked mine off my wrist. Actually thinking about selling, but honestly I'd probably sell the Hulk first.

@tkXplore that’s not a boring watch and you know it.

·

I’d say classic rather than boring! One of my faves of all time the no date sub, simple yet beautiful watch 👌

·

Calling it boring would be like calling rice boring. I think "staple" is more accurate👌

·

Black sub is not boring.

Rather a classic design that every second watch co has tried to copy / incorporate into their own - as they almost sell themselves.

I would say common but definitely not boring! I get its appeal but just not for me... 😉

·

Torn on these at the moment. I had a 14060m when I was 21. Bloody loved it.

Keep lining up alternatives for my next watch that are not a no date sub. GADA, brushed (mostly), legible, micro adjust etc…. But I keep being drawn back to them.

I think it’s like an ex you never got over and you keep seeing reminders everywhere…

I know there are far superior alternatives… but I’m starting to realise I could buy them, and I’m probably gonna still feel that itch.

I might just have to slide my wrist back in as the 124060 looks epic with those slimmed down lugs.

·

Not boring. Yes phenomenal. There’s a reason it’s a legend. Congrats man

·

I like boring.

Classic.

When I started to show interest in watches, the Sub was all over the place for me. The perfect watch people said. And, I might even agree! I love how it looks, and I enjoy reading about the history of it! I aspire to own one someday.

Looks fantastic on your wrist!

·

Nothing boring about this one, mate. Great timeless watch!

They’re different, hard to compare. I would probably keep both😬

Love mine, black t-shirt of a watch
