How do you store your straps, and do you keep them organized? This is my current system.

Very similar approach to the picture in the introductory post, as I stole one of my wife's jewelry storage containers.

I have a zip lock bag in the bathroom and leave the bracelets off some watches with their respective boxes/ packaging!

·

I have found this to be the most effective storage tool for my straps...

Image

The storage box contains 18 smaller boxes that can hold numerous straps. They are the right size to hold most any length of strap. And the box is archival quality as it is meant to store photos.

You can separate your straps by size in mm, you could arrange them by materials, you could store them by color, etc.

The boxes can be labeled for ease of reference when searching for a particular strap.

Here is the description on Amazon:

Photo Storage Box 4x6, 18 Inner Extra Large Photo Case Large Photo Organizer Acid-Free Photo Box Storage Photo Keeper Photo Storage Case, Plastic Craft Storage Box for Photo Stickers Stamps Seeds (Clear, 18 Boxes)

Amazon.com: Photo Storage Box 4x6, 18 Inner Extra Large Photo Case Large Photo Organizer Acid-Free Photo Box Storage Photo Keeper Photo Storage Case, Plastic Craft Storage Box for Photo Stickers Stamps Seeds (Clear, 18 Boxes) : Electronics

You can also stack the boxes if you need more than one and it is easy to carry and store almost anywhere.

That’s just creepy, I like lizards but not snakes , because in Australia most ( not pythons and green tree snakes ) are some of the deadliest in the world… so there is that ….

Hot damn that’s a lotta straps!!

I specifically targeted a watchbox with a good strap organizer drawer, but it would choke trying to take that many 😂

N&N make some beautiful boxes 👌

I got this from Ikea and just painted the storage black.

I love it. Got reeeeaaaallly lucky and found it on eBay from an estate seller for an extremely good price. You can’t even buy these right now due to the Russia/Ukraine conflict.

That is a great find - especially in that particular walnut+blue velvet combo. This and Bosphorous is what is inspiring my latest build, though won’t nearly be as nice as either of those boxes 😂

I recently custom this to store my watch strap and other stuff related to the hobby.

If you live in Australia, I can understand you. But some snakes are harmless. I used to keep a sinaloan milksnake as a pet for some time.

I have 3 smaller ones like that not a bad option. Bracelets goes in a plastic bag in the zipped compartiment.

My nephew had a large water monitor lizzard named Lex . He reminded me of a stoner 😂. Hecwas a chilled pet . Milk snakes and Pythons Ive handled but I just don’t trust them not to just decide to bite .

·

I put them somewhere and hope I remember the location

·

I have a utilities case meant for storing nails or screws. There are movable dividers, so I have several spots for 18, 20, and 22mm sizes, with other spots for nylon and leather for each one
