Speedmaster date. (One I quite like anyway, there’s probably loads)

Even after getting into watches properly, I didn’t even know it existed until I was looking to see if an affordable watch in my collection was actually some kind of homage.

This was watch $1500 bucks! Swiss made.

·

All Longines models, RADO, Certina, "The Citizen" +/- 5 sec/yr (underrated and absolutely monster of craftsmanship)

Do the hour and minute hands slide?

Do the hour and minute hands slide?

Yeah it "dances" up and down and rotates depending on what time it is.

It would be cool to see them in action. I'll have to see what I can find.

·

Tudor.

Always hear about, meh peeps should just get a Rolex. And maybe true for some models, but the Pelagos line seems to be taking the spot of the Rolex MilSub from what I see on dudes wrists in the wild.

I feel like although the speedmaster has one of the hugest fan base, the speedmaster reduced doesn’t get the credit it deserves because of it’s big brother’s shadows. I’m sure you can tell from my profile pic that I’m biased but I personally think the reduced is one of the best looking watches out there. Has better dimensions for people with smaller wrists and is more practical with it being an automatic.

Longines.

·

Rolex. In fact, Rolex was the FIRST luxury watch brand to be underrated.

·

Rolex Yacht Master

·

I'll play along. Bulgari is capital L Luxury. These Diagono Scuba tool bezel versions don't have the polarizing BVLGARI BULGARI ring. Many are under $2K.

Tudor North Flag

·

Cartier - I know they have a large following but it needs to be mentioned more around the likes of Rolex and Omega because they’re really that nice

·

I'd have to say Longines.

I agree. My favorite out of the reduced family is the Triple Date (3523.80). Day/date/month, 24 hour indicator, beautiful sunburst blue dial and a solid movement. Not a module crono so the pushers are aligned with the crown. 39mm with 45 lug to lug for the more svelte of wrist. All for less than 3k in perfect condition. If you don’t mind a bit of wear they can be found under 2k.

Longines hydroconquest..

·

Sinn

·

I would say Long-Jeans too. It seem to be less attractive in comparison to Omega even though it also has it own heritage and in house movement

·

Pretty much anything from Nomos.

·

Cartier, because everyone seems to want other brands as their first or second luxury watch but you only realise after you actually have one that a Cartier should have been THE first or second one you should have bought. Me included.

The Pelagos FXD is certainly on my list. It’s the only Tudor or Rolex that really speaks to me.

I'd also throw these brands into the mix too, just based off movements and price point.
