Hi Crunchers!
Just wanted to get some recommendations on Field Watches. I’m considering a Hamilton Khaki Automatic but wanted to see what alternatives are out there! Preferably a 39 or 40 case mm and the slimmer the better regarding case thickness. Also ideally don’t want any complications or the more simple the better! Thanks y’all!

Have you looked at the Timex mechanical field watches? What about Vaer?
Formex field, marathon has the general purpose quartz and mechanical options, and Swiss Watch Company has the Arc and Bunker!
Hamilton khaki field
Longines Conquest or spirit
Farer three hand automatic or field
Monta Noble
Seiko Alpinist
Rolex explorer
Tudor ranger
Also Oris big crown pointer date
Can’t go wrong with the Hamilton though. Good luck!

Have you met my friend Serica? Slight upgrade from the classic Khaki, but better finishing and great proportions.
CWC GS Sapphire or G10.
Lorier Falcon
Seiko Brushed DressKX (one on the NATO strap)
Citizen Promaster Tough Ray Mears
Marathon GPM.
Lots of good options. For another historic re-issue, I suggest the Benrus 3061 (bonus points for being the watch Steve McQueen wore in Bullitt). Plus, it's 39.5mm and 12mm thick.
There’s also the Boldr Venture line and if you’re okay with quartz there’s a brand called Bertucci that only does field watches.
Some great options listed above. But to be honest, if your budget can get you a Khaki field, IMO you can't get better in the price range.

This is super nice!!! My decision just became a lot harder!!! LOL

You’re not wrong! Haha
Not sure if pilote watches qualify as field, but Laco makes flieger types A and B watches with real history at a much more reasonable price than Hamilton nowadays.
Baltany makes great homages of discontinued 1900s-1950s military issued pieces. Definitely worth a look if you like the more vintage aesthetic.
Sincerely appreciate everyone’s suggestions and learned a lot of new brands and models through the comments! Just want to update everyone that I decided to go with the Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic. Just seems like too hard to beat for the price point considering the history, movement, and quality. I might have to expand my collection even more in the future though with some of these amazing reccomendations!
