I would absolutely wear this casually. I have a Reverso I throw on a fabric strap and looks great casually. Wear the watch in any manner you will enjoy.

I think wearing dressier watches with sportier outfits is a bit on trend right now. Jeans and a polo with a tank and a pair of clean sneakers or even nice boots looks great.

I guess one could, but I’d rather wear it on occasions and make it feel a bit more special.

100%. The Tank is an icon that can easily be used in a casual setting. And easy to change straps on it to dress it down. Delugs’ strap finder gives a good idea if you want to try different options out.

It’s a style icon and as such can be worn with anything IMHO. I would not worry about my outfit one bit if I chose to wear the Tank that day.

I’m really happy to see nearly everyone saying they would wear a Tank casually. On other forums people are so against it and I think that’s so silly. I wear mine frequently and usually with sneakers, shorts, and a t shirt. It’s my watch and I want to wear it whenever because I like it.

In SS it looks much more casual and relaxed. That said I have a RG Santos de Cartier and I often wear it with a tee shirt and joggers.

Tanks make great casual watches imo. Wear one with a polo shirt/khaki shorts combo for example and watch it absolutely slay

The one with Roman numerals, absolutely. The black one, too stark, and I can’t cope with no hour markers. Except I wouldn’t pay Cartier money for a Tank. It’s so iconic it’s generic. I’d save my pennies for something more interesting and unique, like the Santos.

I am definitely in the casual wear/tank school. I have a vintage LeCoultre that I wear on an ostrich strap with everything.

I have a Tank Must with the standard black leather strap. I found it goes with casual shirt and jean without much problem. But I think there is a limit on how much it can dress down though.
