Well, you really never own a PP. I don't know about his next generation but that's all just a marketing slogan and not an actual legally binding contract or oath or anything.
I am thinking of taking Grandmaster Chime as my rap name.
I am of the opinion he can do whatever he wants, but if selling that particular model is a “no-no”, I wonder if PP cuts him off. Doubtful he cares, but curious nonetheless.
He bought the watch so he can do whatever he wants with his possession. I'm more curious about the reasons to sell them now... Man's having money problems?

Some celebuty did something. Or something. I don’t get celeb following/worship.
It's very strange to most of us but it works, and it works in far more categories than you'd think. In watches, Tudor were rumoured to pay Beckham £75mn for his work. It worked extremely well for them!

...and it worked extremely well for a guy whose only talent was kicking an air-filled leather ball.
I don't think I would ever buy a watch so complex it requires a PhD to operate it! Not that I would ever have the money to buy one. Maybe that's why he is selling, he took one look at user manual and said "nope!", but forgot to take it back so warranty is expired and needs to just sell it for more space in his watch box!

Why is it a no-no... I don't get it... Who makes up these ridiculous rules. This is part of the watch culture i just dont get. He bought it he CAN do whatever he wants. This world has gone bonkers if this is shunned upon.
Patek makes watches and sells watches, stick to that. What their clients chooses to do with their property is none of their business and any attempt to interfere is a gross over reach in my opinion. Today, I still don't understand how brands like Ferrari get to sue their customers for having the "wrong" image. Well, the global climate has changed and their cars are not selling like they were so maybe they should have thought twice before sueing the few that were still buying their cars.
Guy likely has a massive watch collection so i don't think selling off 10 or 11 watches is so weird. Does anyone think his kids will care about them? I find the you have to keep x object for life people as weird as hodinkee when they did that article about how sharing your watch is like sharing your wife. Watches shouldn't be that serious imo.
If I'm not mistaken, some people buy these, but have them kept at Patek on display. Additionally, don't they take years to service? So if you did use it, you might wear it for 3 years, then service it for another 3. Lol

He could use it to play conkers for all I care, it's his watch and I don't like it anyway 🤣
@PoorMansRolex yup that's an excellent rap name 😂👏🏻👏🏻

*Snort* Sure, PP's going to cut him off from new products. Probably right after the day he stopped having any TV/rmovie star power.

Why is this even a question ❓
😂😂😂😂 this is hilarious
Patek can kiss his ass for all he cares
What was the original purchase price? Will it fetch 5 big ones at auction?
He's rocky and rambo f#*ks a watchmaker going to say to him or anyone else,I watched him win a war on his own with a bow and beat Mr T up 🤣😂

I think it'll go for 6-7milli. They are rumoured to be 4 mln CHF new.

Well if he paid 4.4M USD (?), he'll make a bit on top.
I think he is selling for charity. But it's a nice tax write off 🤣

I'm totally devastated. 🙄
He's owned it for 5 years, it's his damn business what he wants to do with it

E. Who cares?
If a non-celeb was doing this we wouldn't even know about it.
Hope he make money on it.

He made a whole video to tell us why:

Sounds like he's just ready to let others enjoy some of the watches he's enjoyed over the years.

Did he buy it?
I’d assume that Rambo got it free like most stars who like a brand
(Yes, I know Pam mistreated him, but that’s just a crazy company being crazy )
