It will be amazing to see how we all started our journey and where it has led us so far!
I started mine by purchasing the Breiting SOH to celebrate a job I got.
The most recent purchase was a speedy I bought in Ginza, Tokyo!

Wondeful!
Not the first I bought, but the earliest buy I still own. (Circa 2009)
I just bought this 2 days ago.
Timex Expedition is my oldest watch that I still own. Purchased summer of 2007.
DOXA Army is the newest. Purchased earlier this year.
First that got me hooked:
And the last, after I ran out of money😄:
My first is the Oak and Oscar humboldt. Was going to be my 1 watch collection before catching the bug
And the Timex broncos watch with upgraded strap. Just because it's fun and I enjoy Timex
Omega devile bought in 1987 and grand seiko bought three months ago 😊
First watch was a gift. Most recent will become a gift.
The first watch that started me on my current collection trajectory, is my #junkers 6060-5 Bauhaus automatic. This was the first watch I properly researched. My then girlfriend and now beautiful wife bought it for me 6 years ago.
The last watch was my #longines Spirit 37mm. Bought it a few weeks ago and have been really enjoying it. Was looking into it ever since it came out and am happy I went for it at last.
The first and the latest
Great question/post, Andrew!
I bought this Fossil many years ago before I started collecting. Day/date/moon phase, rotating bezel, 100m WR. Not my style today, definitely has that late 1990's to early 2000's vibe:
Technically this is my latest purchase that I have received (there are two more still in the pipe), my Specht & Sohne Santos homage:
My first (bought them together):
My last:
First ( of those I currently own)
First ( of those I currently own)
Most recent (not arriving until 2024)
This Steeldive got me back into watches (I had no idea about squale) and this Seiko prospex SUN is my latest.
I love these post my first watch I ever bought timex expedition fist watch I bought with my own money to my most recent
My first watch was some white dial Casio, but i lost it like 20 years ago.
First watch i bought with the money i earned was that Esprit chrono quartz. Chrono is not working for like 10 years, but nevertheless i adore that watch and it will be in my collection for life.
Last watch I added is the legend itself - Seiko Sarb017. I am shocked with the quality of the watch.
I’d say my first purchase (and still with me!) was a Tissot Tradition Chronograph:
And my last one was my Zodiac Olympos Military Field (Worn & Wound Edition)
First watch, quartz ESQ. Bought at the mall jewelry store I worked in. Wouldn't have been able to afford it if not for the employee discount. I was miserably broke, there was this recession going on. Rough time. Girlfriend was a waitress, I was working at a mall.
Most recent buy was the JLC polaris date, 15 years later. That gf is now the wife. We have three kids and we're both attorneys. Life has improved.
First watchI purchased was a SKX007J and the last one was also a seiko, but a chronograph from the conceptual line.
First and latest purchases
Both were Cheap Omegas..
First proper watch purchase: Omega 1960s Seamaster "Bumper" Automatic
Last watch - Omega x Swatch: Moonswatch - Mission to the Moon
Most recent on the left, second I ever bought (first one long gone to the great watchmaker in the sky) on the right. About forty years between the two.
The Speedmaster is stunning!
I think I'm doing it wrong.... started with a roadster
And my latest watch is my cheapest!
Well, here's my second to last purchase 😅
That's a solid first watch!
First of all, is that a Breitling B adorned on a tram?!
Here are my first and last bigger purchases (35mm and 40mm respectively, quite a contrast):

It sure is!!!! Wonderful time pieces there Sir :)
My first 'luxury' watch. A Concord Moonphase bought in 1987. I still own it and it still operates perfectly.
My latest Omega.
