Small tweak on a winning formula. Colour and bezel change means even more of a strap monster than the OG.
Only downside is that if you already own an FXD, probably not enough of a difference to justify getting this one too?
Yes - but take them off when going to see patients (we have to be bare below the elbow when with our patients).
I also enjoy looking to see which watches my patients are wearing!
I think the recommendations for a Longines or an Oris are really sound, particularly a three hander, because
a) Both owned by LVMH which is unlikely to fail unless something catastrophics happens to our society
b) They all use solid ETA based movements, which then get decorated a bit. You can get them serviced anywhere and no need to stick to brand specific services after 10 years.
c) Both have a rich heritage and their designs draw from a rich heritage, yet both are agile enough to experiment a little. I LOVE that my Oris chronoris looks like my Dad's watch that he bought in 1976
All are scumbags, and living proof that the love of Money is the root of all evil, but Elizabeth Holmes was the one most directed related to people's health, so she gets my vote for being doused in a vat of lukewarm spaghetti in tomato sauce.
