Solar and Lunar on a diver. Did I get it right?
Folks. Somehow I never seem to get combinations and colour matches on fabric straps right for my watches. I see others online really nail the colour and look of a dial / strap combination and always feel a bit jealous.
This month I finally managed to get my hands on a 'ghost dial' version of the Seiko prospex compact solar diver SNE569. I love the watch head but the strap is just too bulky for a svelte watch like this.
I got a Zuludiver Lunar Space-Bound strap for it, thinking the grey and white would pick out the colours on the bezel. I know it is meant for a MoonSwatch or a Speedy, but I think it looks good.
It's hard to capture on camera but the white in the strap glows too, which is a neat litle trick!
I have a 16.5cm wrist, and according to the Geneva Convention, that is all I need to tell you.
