Santos, all day every day. Cartier is one I'd keep. I'd flip a Rolex faster than a pancake.
Santos for me. The case design since 1903(?), the art deco dial and brand history plus the prestige kinda makes this watch special. Both are comfortable on the wrist but I think the jubilee will definitely wear better.
The Cartier draws a different kinda attention if that means anything to you😊. If resale is one of the priorities, then go Rolex always.
The Rolex. The size, shape and finish of the Cariter will not age well.

Rolex all day, it's a superior movement, bracelet, resale... I have the chocolate dial version of that DJ41 and it's my favorite watch I own .. almost everyone who gets a Santos ends up selling it, Rolex is a keeper for life

The Santos a hundred times over, nothing wrong with the datejust, just that the Santos is a grail watch for me

As much as I love the datejust but between these 2 particular pieces I’d choose the Santos
