My Second Seiko
I’m slowly easing into this world of Seiko. Almost one-third of the watches I own are Citizen. I also have a few from Orient and Casio. For whatever reason, Seiko was the last to my party. I purchased the SNZG13J1 about two months ago and love it. Really simple, functional and appealing to my taste. Moving slowly, I’ve now landed on this pretty little piece.
The SNSX79J1 arrived yesterday and it’s quite the stunner. I was leery at first because my wrist is above average sized and the watch is only 37mm; however, I was surprised at how well it wears.
There’s a subtle elegance to this piece that I really like. At $114, I’d say it’s nice for the price. I’ll certainly change the bracelet as it’s a little “meh.” Other than that, I’m going to enjoy this little lady.
I’m not sure which Seiko I’ll get next but I can see myself starting to transform into one of “them.” 😉

SAME! The majority of my collection is Citizen and I did have the Seiko Flightmaster ( because I love pilot watches) .... recently my wife got me the dressKX and now i'm more obsessed. I threw a jubilee on it and I got an SKX bezel to replace the one it came with.
The SNSX is nice.
Very nice watch! Uncle Seiko (Uncle Straps) now has bracelets for the SNXS79 if you don't want to order from Ali Express.

Ordered plenty of stuff. As long as the seller is good, you wont have any issues.
I have my SNXS on a oyster style bracelet. There is an option for jubilee depending on what you prefer.

I've gotten a few straps from there. Some are ok, Some are ....crap but two of the leather nato straps I got are my favorite straps I've found anywhere..... hit or miss I guess. I would be really skeptical about getting a watch from there though. If its cheap enough then i guess its worth the risk.

Truth be told, I’ve had an internal tug of war with those exact two models for about a month. That’s the only reason I didn’t have one before now. I still want the white dial.

I order from there all the time and I’ve literally never had an issue. Just be diligent in what you’re buying. Check the images from the reviews. If there aren’t any, just be wary. I bought the SNXS jubilee and it’s dope.

One of my favourite watches of all time. Simple is best. Puts some of these expensive watches to shame in the looks department

Same here. Always chose Citizen over Seiko in the past, but just bought a DressKS to try a mechanical movement.
