Hey! I appreciate that. This was probably the best life I could’ve given this thing. I understand it’s frankenwatch-y, but to be fair, I bought it with the intention to restore it and the balance wheel was totally effed up. It would’ve been hell to try to find all original parts of unknown quality, so I wasn’t about to get on that ride. Plus, I’m not passing it off as anything other than this beautiful dial I revitalized and I would never sell this. It’s a memento from my trip to another country that I loved and now I can actually use it.
Anyway, this watch would’ve gone unworn for another century and now it’s blinging up my wrist and telling time again, and I’m proud of it (Plus it was my money and I can do what I want).
Thanks for the love. I’m glad you like it!
