It's all about personal style. My only gripe with Invicta was the sheer sizes of the watches themselves. Glycine is kinda similar but I'm definitely a fan of their airman watches which sit in the more comfortable 40mm range.
I've heard the horology field is in need of young blood so I think these classes are an awesome gateway to something that can be even bigger than just another hobby for people. It's something I would love to try, that's for sure.
Yeah my Hamilton came with the black leather originally. It was my first watch so I bought a bunch of random straps on Amazon to see what works best and I'm pretty sure you could put the khaki field on a rope and it would look alright lol. Strap monster for sure. If I recall the metal bracelet was fairly reasonable on price too. And it was fun to learn how to resize and stuff.
