Hello WC people!

Hi everyone. I just got introduced to WatchCrunch watching Max on YT, and I thought what a fun way to get people together talking about the stuff we love.

I actually started my watch collecting journey a little less than 6 months ago, first watch being the Nomos Orion 38 which I'll show off probably in a later post :). I have very tiny wrists and I wear my watch on my dominant right hand - simply because I haven't come across anything that looks good on my tiny 6" left wrist for a 33yo male. You may judge but that's how I roll.

Kicking off this post to share my recent (and relatively premium) addition to my collection:

The Omega Aqua Terra 150M 38MM Small-seconds 220.10.38.20.10.002

This one is one of the less talked about version among all ATs, mainly because of the more 'feminine' design of the dial. However I love the nacre inlay on the white gold boat-shaped indices, and how it shimmers sometimes in green or purple hues under different lights. The circular date window also blends well with the white gold ring design of the small-seconds. The subtle green sunburst dial is also mesmerizing for how it radiates from the small-seconds instead of center of the dial. It also sits comfortable on my wrist and I can't stop looking at it :)

Thanks for reading through till the end and I hope you have a pleasant day.

Hi, welcome to the club! I see nothing "feminine" about that dial. Subtle / understated, yes. Feminine, not at all. And don't forget that 36 - 38mm was considered normal for men to wear for many decades, and the trend seems to be heading back that way now. All in all, a very good looking watch.

Welcome! Gorgeous Omega...

·

Welcome to WC, the watch looks great on you. You’ve already started well with the Nomos and the Omega.

·

Welcome to WC. Your watch looks great, nothing gender specific about it. It does remind me of the Seiko SARB models and some of the Grand Seiko dress watches. All of which are stunning.

·

Welcome to WC, that’s a great looking AT. Actually they’re all pretty great, but I really like the small seconds and the date is well done too. Looking forward to seeing the Nomos.

·

Beautiful AT 🤩 Also welcome!! The ATs got a great amout of personality for being a simple time&date only watch!!

·

welcome

·

Welcome, and beautiful piece!! Nice to see some variety in the threads.

·

Welcome from a fellow right handed/right wristed Omega wearer :)

Lovely AT!

·

It doesn’t matter what size wrist or what style of watch you desire but that YOU enjoy what YOU wear! Glad to have you aboard!

·

Welcome to our rabbit hole...........what a beautiful Omega 🔥👌

·

Welcome to the WC! 😃 Beautiful Omega!🤩 Wear your watch the way that feels good for you! The ol' "Right-handed wear left / left-handed wear right" axiom (to my knowledge) was based on practicality / ease of operation; it was never intended as a hard and fast rule. You do you, lol. 😎 Again, welcome! 🙂

·

Off like a rocket! Nomos and Omega! Pause. Reflect. Enjoy! You’re in outer space now.

·

I will say buy what you like and wear what you want I will give opinions of a watch but that is just my opinion nothing more each to their own bud 😎👍 and welcome, glad to see you here.

·

Welcome, nice watch just a nice watch I don’t think gender comes into it….

·

Welcome to the site and greetings from another right hand slim wristwatch wearer.

Great start with a Nomos 😃

·

Welcome to the site. Great place to talk watches and learn along the way. I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Hope you enjoy as well!

·

Good to see you here bud 😉

·

Welcome to WC!

Love that Omega! Love to see more of your watches!

Enjoy that bad boy!

Cheers!

·

Welcome welcome

·

Welcome to WC man

I have small wrists too! Smaller than yours, mine is 5.5” 😆 so yeah I feel you buddy

·

Welcome mate ! This AT is really classy, more on the dress side of the AT. Beautiful

·

Wow I didn't expect to be greeted with such overwhelming response. So excited to be here, thanks everyone!

And I definitely agree there shouldn't be a gender tag on watches. Interesting fact, this AT of mine is actually discreetly classified under Women's design on Omega's site 😂.

·

Your desire to roll how YOU want is refreshing. Your wrist, your rules. Enjoy the journey!

·

Looks amazing! Love the watch and the color. I think it's silly "round" seems to have come to mean feminine and "large with edges" means masculine. Wear what looks good, and I think this looks great!

·

Welcome 😀

·

Welcome! That's a nice AT

·

Welcome. I’m new as well and like you found this place by watching max reviewing a watch I purchased. Aqua Terra small seconds 41. I’ve gotten so much useful information here. It’s a great place to learn about all things watches.
