I don't know much about vintage Heuer. I pulled this from the internet. Someone is selling it on eBay. For $1100 less you can buy an Eterna with similar finishing and a better automatic movement (I think this one has an A.S.). This was what most watches looked like in 1955. That year most companies had models that dropped all Arabic numerals. (Previously, there had been 3, 6, 9, 12's and 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12's.)
I have been in a dry spell for a while for watch spotting. I saw a Citizen chronograph on the wrist of a police officer acquaintance and since my client was giving a statement about his involvement in a murder, it didn't seem like the place to ask which Citizen it may have been. Also, my brother in law sports a Hamilton Khaki Field King with a black dial that looks really good.
You are not trying to "match", you are trying to compliment or contrast. The two most common colors for dress shirts are white and blue. It would look fine with either.
(I originally was just going to drop in with a joke: "Bulova designed that with nudists in mind," but I changed my mind.)
My geometry teacher suggested that I read Flatland because I was an obnoxious twit who talked first and learned later. It was the best book that I read in high school.
