Thank you for reviewing my grail watch. This thing is just amazing, nearly every feature I want in a watch, even though I'm not a fan of fauxtina. Something I really like is the triangle at 24, it really helps with orientation if one plans to use it as a dive bezel.
When traveling I would prefer to limit the watches I carry so this blend of dressy, dive and GMT is exactly what I like. How's the weight? These days I'm finding I prefer watches with more weight and thickness, I don't like lighter watches like those made of Titanium.
I Love my Vostoks. I've modded mine with bezels, straps and display case backs. They have taken a lot of punishment. One is now my wife's. With the silent bezel, they are great to discreetly time tasks when at the office. The cushion case on the 710 is so comfortable and protects it from further shock, it would be one of the few watches I would never let go of. I think the secret to enjoying them is modding, especially bezels and straps. I wish I could buy a porcelain white bezel....
i Recently got the chance to buy the Khuraburi. Im still deciding on it! I have a Miyako which i find very versatile. The Khuraburi I would buy with the engineer bracelet, maybe getting the black with an extra blue/orange bezel. What did you think of yours? For me, it looks like a perfect tool watch with that high legibility and bezel design.
I've had mine for over a year. Excellent watch, I just wish the bracelet had smaller links or more taper. I have to wear it loose. It is fantastically well built, I just wish it popped a little more when the lighting was not as good. The date window is really well done, it has all the fun of a no date, but its there when you need it.
