3 months with the Proxima PX1697.
For 3 years, I searched long and hard for the perfect budget dress diver. It needed to look good with a suit, but it needed to also have a rotating bezel to time daily tasks and a good bracelet.
Despite divers being so saturated in the market, there are precious few out there that can be so versatile. Those that are, often dont have a date. I did not want a 1:1 clone of the Submariner as this would be used often in a business environment.
Proxima, with their enamel white dial has come really close. This watch retails for $330 CAD and is amazing. With +1spd, 11.5mm thickness, adjustable clasp and this glossy dial with great lume, it's excellent. I would highly recommend considering this. It also has lots of blue AR coating that plays with the light beautifully.
With Proxima, you are also getting a far more premium service. Proxima regulates the movement and shows you pictures of the watch before shipping.
If Proxima were to add a displayback it would be near perfect. I really enjoy seeing a movement in action.

Looks good, wear it in good health!
Also the PT5000 movement can be tuned to +2/-2 seconds per day which is fantastic. I'm excited to see what H. K. Precision Technology will do next.
This looks really good. Love the placement of the date, domed crystal and the PT5000 movement is a great movement. Allows the height to be 11.5mm. That can’t be done with a NH35.
A dress watch to me should be thin on the wrist and this one seems to tick all the boxes. Screw down crown, 200m water resistance, 39mm case size.
A display case back would be the icing on the cake.

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy

Yeah I think they nailed the execution. Fantastic
