Helm Miyako one month review - its fantastic, get on the waitlist
Love this Helm. Very well built.
One month of the Helm Miyako.
Absolutely astounded by the quality and beauty of this watch. Love the dial details and the feel. Its been on my wrist for most of the month. It really feels similar to many Tudors I have handled. Its also running at +2 seconds a day.
I will be honest, I have little desire to go up-market after having this watch. Its really satisfied much of my desire for other things.
It fits great on my 6.6 inch wrist, and while thick, fits well under a cuff. The bezel is a little stiff and requires a firm grip to twist it. Lume is great but i wish fauxtina hadnt been used.
Helm gives an amazing package with ISO testing certificates and a thank you note.
One negative: the clasp doesnt have enough microadjust. I instead ordered a Helm Titanium clasp and it works very well.
Worth the waitlist! This really feels like it could be priced far higher.
I like using watches as instruments built for a purpose and for their history. I work in Emergency Management and Security and so for me, they are tools first.

Yes its probably the most well implemented system given the small quantity produced. Absolutely worth it, though I know taste is subjective and some have sold theirs.

Yeah man, its rough to wait but totally worth the time. Hang around the FB groups, some people do offer codes every so often and you can snag it. Thats what I did for both the Vanuatu Ti and Miyako. What you will get is a well-built watch with almost no compromises
I have three HELMS, and I'm on the list for the Khuraburi Ti. I was excited when HELM announced that they were planning to release a dress diver...but I deeply dislike the Miyako. IMO, it’s an unappealing homage to the JLC Polaris.

Hey, I can see that for sure. I don't like the Polaris at all but seem to like this one.
I waited 13 months. I agree worth the wait.
