Welcome! My watch journey...so far
Hey Crunchers!
I'm Tim and I love watches. Like most hobbies I've had (tattoos, shoes, Japanese heritage clothing, Tolkien) I fell pretty hard, and pretty deep. Watches happen to be the newest obsession in my life and I find myself pretty far down the rabbit hole. I'm a little over a year into watches and I start to think that maybe I have some idea of what I like. I guess I like vintage inspired designs, style icons the old way (like vintage Sub), and utilitarian functionality. I am also open to a little splash of fun or bling. That said, I also love modern tech so (so far) want new watches that look vintage. I'm lusting after a bunch of Datejust models, and Day-Date models, all in 36mm. I realise that my small wrists look best with watches around 36-38mm. I'll soon have a Black Bay 54 on the bracelet which will be my upgraded diver. It looks how I'd like the Sub to look! I love the thought of passing these objects to my children. That after they travelled with me through time and shared my memories, that I can transmit a little of that to my kids. This is my first serious post and hope to post more in the future and meet others who also love these mechanical marvels. Cheers!

Love that two tone Explorer... I got mine a few months ago and it's become my favorite watch, and I already have the 39mm Explorer and a Sub no date... It's so under rated, I hope they discontinue it soon
