Gamechanger.

Nobody seems to be talking about this new VC release - Overseas in 34.5mm, either in steel or rose gold. with the integrated bracelet, this may wear like a 36mm watch - think Datejust 36mm. I have small wrists and think this is an exciting step forward. Absolutely need to try one on. Seeing more and more smaller case size options. Happy days!

Image nabbed from Time & Tide - sure they wouldn't mind!

37mm would have been perfect. I find anything below 36mm a bit too small. But that Overseas is definitely a grail for me..

But with that bracelet it doesn't look so small. Pretty gorgeous actually.

·

Yeah I defo need to try one on. My actual grail is the Dualtime. If only they’d do that in a smaller case..

·

Its £23000 ! or $30000 at least ! Nice as it is, out of the league of most people.

·

I wear 34mm watches regularly but this one goes too far even for me.

The dial size is probably still somewhat okay despite the fat bezel but where they really lost me is with that way too small movement. I mean look how small the data window is and how far central it sits. Such a flaw at that price, not a chance.

34mm is probably one of my favourite sizes. I may never be able to get my oily sausage-fingers on a VC Overseas, but this is excellent news. Rejoice!

agreed not loving the tiny date window - better they had left it out. but still, I do really like it. probably will go for Datejust 36mm for that 'use case' personally, but it's good to see smaller case sizes trickling out. bodes well for the future

I doubt VC will be changing any games.

I'm sure it's a nice watch, but VC operates in a tiny niche of a niche market.

I suspect nobody is talking about it because the number of people who an afford to buy kne is tiny, so there is little market for videos about it.

·

Take note how this is a frontal shot and you can actually see and appreciate the bracelet. This happens with properly sized watches. The whole wrist isn't blocked off by a hulking watch head. It's a good thing. It does need a date magnifier though.

·

I personally think VC should stick to making smaller dressier watches, not that the Overseas is bad by any means

·

I should say too small, but my Poljot dress watches are 35 and I love wearing them. I'd have to try it on.

·

I love smaller dials. But a real game changer would be $6k 😂.

·

Bracelets bulk up smaller watches, so maybe this can enter into consideration for my grail VC.

Haha, don't get yourself in trouble 😮. That said, you are correct. People are paying insane prices for watches that have been designed specifically with a bracelet in mind ... just to buy sizes so big that they can't appreciate it while wearing or show the bracelet in their Instagram wrist shots (which might be the primary purpose 😏).

I get it with smart watches, more screen equals more better, more battery equals more better, but with a simple mechanical I cannot understand it. With an "integrated bracelet design" even less so...

·

Love that watch. Would buy if its 20k. Not 30k. For 30k I can get a black 41mm 4500v

·

The VC222 has ruined me for any other watch from this maker. It's that good!

·

I think I am going to choose VC over AP!

·

I saw the small one a couple of week ago and found it wayyy to small for my wrists, which are 6.6" or 6.7" if I recall correctly. The key point for me is to see the gorgeous blue lacquer dial, so I want more real estate!

Below pic shows the 37mm women's overseas next to the new 34.5mm.

Here it is on my SA's wrist (a woman) and I think it fits well!

Fabulous 🥳love the fit on you. I don’t mind the spec at all.

·

I find that they missed the mark with this release. 36 or 37 is the bottom end for the vast majority of the men's market. Anything below that is approaching niche market status. The same could be said for cases that are larger than say 45mm. There are buyers but the definite majority are within the 36-45 range.

·

People are definitely excited about the overseas in general. VC has been pure fire lately. 34.5 is a bit dainty for most, even considering the trend back to reasonably sized watches

·

For me honestly the size is a little bit to small. But then again my experience has shown me that you can’t make 💯 decision until you have tried it on in person. Tjanks for the heads up I haven’t seen anyone talk about this.

·

VC excluding the chapter ring from the small size is a big mistake imo. It takes away so much detail
