Drowned, with some battle damage

I have 4 * 6309 divers that I grabbed in a job lot, with this 729A being the worst of the lot as you can guess. It’s a September ‘85 date - I can reme...

Hey Bruce, did you ever finish this one off? I’m developing an unhealthy obsession with “vintage” Seiko divers, but don’t have a proper turtle yet

Hahhahaaaha no no worries my man. Some people who watch these as a tutorial want talking as it's informative. Other people prefer quiet as they watch these to relax. I must admit I like both styles, depending on my mood.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! First time I did a 'no talking' video to be honest. If people prefer that then I'm happy to keep my trap shut. It's a lot less work 😂

There isn’t any audio on this one. I’m trying out ASMR for a change ;)

I’ve been eyeing that specific watch for a while to be honest!

It’s always a difficult question and there’s no hard and fast rule; each project is different. On a cheap watch I generally feel less inclined to keep it original and more to make it cool/pretty/unique.

On something that is collectible, thus expensive or valuable, you’ll use a lot more restraint - granted the result will be worthwhile. If the dial is ruined or movement all rusted up, it changes things again

That’s a neat idea. Just not to sure how to make it work with 15mm lug width, unless the whole strap is that thin - which will be too thin for my taste. But lemme think on that a bit.
