A recent ratty Seiko rebuild project

Not sure how many restoration / mod on here. A recent project where an srp425 was destined for the scrap bin. It was in a sorry state with bezel epoxied into case, it had deep scratches and crown was missing. Only redeeming parts were dial and chapter ring.

So I rebuilt it, after removing deepest scratches in case, it was bead blasted and got clear Cerakote (looks grey in pics but actually pretty glossy). Bezel was also filed/sanded to take out scratches. Then was bead blasted and got titanium Cerakote applied.

Many parts of movement was rusted, so that was rebuilt and now ticking along like a dream.
