New Arrival on the Bench Early 6309 Turtle from 1977

New Arrival this lovely all original 6309-7040 from July 1977.

With these vintage dive watches it’s a good idea to have the case and under the bezel cleaned and inspected for corrosion.

The bezel on this one was seized and you can see in the photos the cause it was full of sea salt crystals and grime.

Full restoration to follow.

Hey Bruce, did you ever finish this one off? I’m developing an unhealthy obsession with “vintage” Seiko divers, but don’t have a proper turtle yet

Wonderful! Ooh Pepsi anything works for me. Except the actual drink. That's only fit for cleaning the toilet :)
