Got into watches as a kid. My dad was a watch guy and that got me going. I really turned the corner from fossil and quartz Seiko’s on a trip to Lake Powell. I found out the hard way the difference between a dive style watch and a dive watch. And 30M doesn’t actually mean 90 feet. Switched from my dive style seiko with the kinetic movement to a SKX009 that’s actually a dive watch!!.My collection is pretty fun, it’s a mix of pretty standard and pretty unique and mostly with a vintage vibe. Everything from Omega, Tudor, Oris, Seiko, Steinhart, Casio…. You get the drift

100% yes… that tick is so jarring to watch and on 80% of watches the seconds hand doesn’t line up with the second … my OCD don’t play that
Super cool watch. Is that the 43.5 mm case? I think between the 43.5mm case and the 16mm thickness it makes it a hard wear for a lot of guys. I could wear it pretty well as I’m kind of a yeti with 8 1/4” wrists
