Grail watch achieved: Rolex Submariner 16610LV "Kermit"
A milestone as a collector! My first grail watch 🐸achieved.
I have been lusting after (and saving for) this watch since 2017. For the past seven years, I refused to consider any other Submariner unless it was this one.
And, boy, has it been a rollercoaster watching those prices. 😬 In 2018, I saw a store in Tokyo that had *four* of them in stock. I couldn't afford it then. The price I paid yesterday was only USD 700 above the price listed back then. With the price hikes for Rolex over the past few years, that was close enough for me.
Now my only problem is I need to buy more clothes in green. 😅

My grail is a Rolex Daytona 126500. Once I have that, I'm finished. Apart from a Grand Seiko and a CW. OH, and a skeleton watch. And a DLC coated watch 🙂

Submariner is black with no date. All color variations are made on another watch, the Submariner Date. In this case the Kermit, so it will always be dated, unless you create a Frankenstein by changing the bezel.
