Show me your Seiko 5's!

Perhaps my favorite thing about the Seiko 5 line up is that they've appeared in so many different styles over the decades. My humble 6119-7400 from the 70's is my preferred watch when I'm in the mood to wear something a bit funkier than usual. Lately however I've been thinking of adding another Seiko 5 to my collection and I'm looking for a bit of inspiration.

Do you have a Seiko 5? Old or new, let's see 'em!

Never seen one like this—very cool! I think I may end up collecting vintage Seiko 5s one day because like you said, there’s just such a large variety out there. Here’s my modern SNXF05.

Very nice! That's one I've had my eye on, actually. The grid pattern dial is simple, but neat.

Thanks! It's got a lot of charm for sure. Blows my mind that it's over 50 years old.

6119 is a brilliant movement. You can't beat a vintage sports model. This is my 6119-6020 (1969) in Seiko blue! Love the 6020 with the extra fat crown, 60s style case, rotating inner-bezel, red seconds hand - list goes on!

I also have a silver dial 6119-6023 in mint condition. Nice thing about these is that you have the black, gold, blue and super rare green dial variants. Lots to hunt for. Another Seiko 5 I have is the turquoise dial 6119-7103 with super raised indices. Seiko 5 is a rabbit hole!

I've just refurbished a 6119-7103. Great looking little watch that's ended up on the wrist of my other half!!

I would love to show my SNK809, but I can't seem to find it anywhere :(. I really looked everywhere I could imagine it would be.

Super! I've not seen another one out there. I'm lucky in that my piece has the original bracelet. Very distinct dial!

·

Rummaging around, I've found another Seiko 5 that has a unique case shape. 70's vibe. 6119-7500. Mint.
