That might have influenced his approach. Judging by the photo, the word that he made up worked. Genius marketer.

Many years ago now, I used to walk by a market in Somerville MA. Because the owners made their own signs and had not mastered the art of kerning, they had signs that proudly announced that they sold pizza donuts and fish soda.
