Heaviest watch you own and wear

Lots of discussion on sizing dimensions, lug to lug, width, thickness, etc. and to my observations, less about weight.

When it’s mentioned there seem to be two topics - a watch feels light(er) because it’s a certain material like titanium, ceramic, or carbon fiber, as examples. The reactions are typically then about enjoying that OR feeling that the watch seems ‘less’ because it’s toy-like, not serious… The other one is being impressed because of the heft, typically because of a precious metal, gold being the most common.

I have a spectrum of watch weights (no gold yet!) but my heaviest as I wear it is 250 grams. What about your watches? What is the heaviest watch you wear?

Uh DEF this one, and it's not close. #custodesspecial (click the link at your peril)

Bwahahahaha 😝.

PS - You don't get used to the weight either 😂.

Mine would be my Seamaster 300. I prefer titanium, I like the light weight, it doesn’t feel too heavy. I know a lot of people prefer SS as it feels more like a watch than a toy, but I’m getting old😁

Not sure. I've never weighed any. Probably my Squale Matic on mesh.

I'll just submit the Invicta Venom at a bicept burning 336 grams (or 11.85 ounces so essentially the weight of a can of Coca Cola or the weight of a soccer or NFL football) ha!!

Definitely know when I am wearing this. I have to concentrate when walk else I end up walking in circles

The Marinemaster 300m is a lovabke wristburger

I like to feel the watch - my AP is quite hefty…

130g and 180g respectively unless the internet is lying about this too...

When the bracelet for my Samurai arrives I think that combo will exceed 200 grams.

Gonna need a nap just thinking about it...

I have smaller watches so the weight is not the irritant. It’s the height. The taller watches tend to rotate around the wrist. It’s an annoyance rather than a discomfort.

43mm Mark II on a bracelet is 185 grams and quite top heavy…

These are mine, both well over 200g and both around 48/51/16 with 24mm lugs

This Seiko Speedtimer, but it’s not that heavy. I’ve never considered weight as a factor actually. Maybe I will once I try titanium.

Giuliano Mazzuoli Manometro

Has to be my Breitling b-1… swapped the bracelet for the rubber strap and it’s definitely more wearable

This!

I don't like heavy watches personally. My heaviest is my Tudor BB58 blue around 150 grams. I'm so happy about my Grand Seiko SBGA415 in titanium with a leather strap is 60,6 grams. It feels like it's not even on my wrist. But it doesn't matter, wear what you feel good with. 🤟🤗

Sinn ux on the bracelet is mine. Could knock nails in with it 😊

Haven't actually weighed both but I'm estimating about 200g thereabouts. Strapcode bracelets contributing to the heft. 😁

Here are a few of my heavier ones....

IWC 18k gold case. I love the oversized date and the 5 day power reserve.

Omega Seamaster Professional. Circa 2000 model.

Titoni Seascoper a fun two tone model.

And a real big boy is this one from Nove. Two sided with a lever activated mechanism to switch the faces. It's a conversation starter for sure.

My Longines Grande Vitesse. Automatic chronograph with the Valjoux 7750 inside, thicc.

Wouldn’t get anything weigh more than this one in the future

Just received this in the mail today! I love it, but it is chunky...

Breitling Super Ocean II 44m on bracelet:

Tudor North Flag is by far my heaviest watch and it's a mere 157g according to my kitchen scales.

I do enjoy the weight of a watch on the wrist. That said I have a thing for titanium so all my steel and bronze pieces feel heavy... and I refuse to buy gold or platinum because I'm cheap. ⌚💸

·

My Clive Cussler edition Doxa. It's big and heavy.
