The quality is superb and feels more comfortable than current SMP300s. Get a good one off EBay, I suggest Japan stores on there , just check bracelet size in description. Might have to get a few more links. It’s by far worth it. Been seeing prices drop to 2500ish
I have 5. They all have sentimental value and meanings behind them. Most I ever had was 7 and that was too much cause there were watches I wanted to wear more than one day. My higher end watches (omega) I make sure I wear to work or going out. My entry level ( Hamilton) is for just wearing whenever. I change between a nato and leather strap depending on the season. My regular watches (Seiko, Invicta) are my beaters. Considering another omega or a tudor but regardless want to make sure if I buy something more than a few hundred that it gets worn frequently. 6 would be my max. Took me 3 years but Iv figured out that’s the perfect number for me and all pieces have meaning for why I have them and all can be worn most days.
Probably because the brand is hyped up like Rolex and Omega but the quality doesn’t match. I see you own a speedy and DJ. Tudor is more in line with Oris, Longines, and Tag (imo).
Been wanting to get a black BB58 for a few years now. Tried one on 2 years ago and was disappointed. I think part of it was hype and the other was I went to the AD wearing my Seamaster and that watch is on an entirely different tier than the Black Bays. I still would like a 58 but my expectations are more realistic. Tudor makes very nice tool watches, not overly finishing and refined. They’re tools to be used. I also love the coloring of the 58 and that red triangle. That Sean Connery Bond era is what I love and the history of those mid century Rolex/Tudor subs. I don’t know if I’ll go new on it though. Can get 1k knocked off if go used and i think for the quality of the watch that makes sense. 4k new is kinda crazy for the quality.
Nice collection! Will you add a 3rd omega to it?
I have the sword hand electric blue and bond one. Contemplating getting the black dial and bezel one as a “beater” but the high finish on it id feel bad about nicking up.
