Done. Buy what you like.

I did a post a few days ago showing the last two I added. Tag and Tudor. Here’s everything. Every watch has personal meaning, historical meaning, or was a grail. These watches all fit my life style and overall style. I used to check boxes when I first got into the hobby but I sold those watches pretty quick. Divers are my niche. The Hamilton definitely an outlier but it fits my personality. Bond omega was my original grail. Electric blue one I always loved and handed down by my dad. Tudor bb58 was a grail, wanted that for years. Celebrated getting married and finishing my masters this year with it. Loved that look of the tag and got that too this year. It’s so unique to other watches. Only the explorer 2 looks like it. Very versitile. Seiko was my first watch. Can’t part with that. I feel totally content with everything now. Got into the hobby when Covid hit and I’m confident in leaving now. Everything wears perfectly. If I have one on I can’t wait to put another one on later, not lust after a watch I don’t own. Financially I think I’m ready to be done too lol there’s more important things in life. Maybe years down the road I’ll get something else but for now I’m ready to call it quits. Still going to hang out here tho. This place is awesome.

I am close to what you have described in your text. I am missing 1 watch and in the empty slot, there is a bundle of cash for its purchase. As usual, I get up in the morning and I check the box to see what I am going to wear for the day. They are all beautiful but in the last few days I have been catching myself saying " hmmm ... I feel like wearing something different today" :(

Congrats and awesome collection! Just out on interest, when are you inclined to wear one omega over the other? You definitely have a type, but all the watches have different styles and colours except the omegas both sharing blue dials

Electric Blue I wear to work frequently, it’s lighter and thinner. If I know I’m going to happy hour and I’m wearing the watch for at least 10 hours it’s definitely a go to. Blue Bond is heavier and bracelet more dressier, dial isn’t as loud and it’s understated. For dinners, events, my wedding, once a week to work usually. You definitely feel it after 10 hours on wrist. Longest I wore it was on a tropical vacation a few years ago. Tag and Tudor I wear to work but also more casually on weekends. Any yardwork beating its seiko and Hamilton. If I do fall activities I usually throw a leather strap on the Hamilton and wear the Tudor due to warmer tones. To answer your original question, Depending on situation is when I wear an omega. My dad used to beat the electric blue for years but he got wiser, wore his tags for beating, got the omega fully serviced and gave to me. Long story short: it’s all about the situation for which watch I wear. Seiko 5 for laying stonework yes, Omegas no.

I have the Electric Blue 2255.80 and the Blue Bond (automatic 2531.80) and indeed the weight is very different. Omega lists the EB at 160g and the Bond at 165g. It seems more to me.. My question is : where would the difference come from? The bracelet / the size of the case ? I understand that they both have the 1120...

I think the Bond bracelet is definitely heavier based on the bracelet type and it not being tapered. The Bond clasp is also wider for sure. Those are the only differences in terms of weight. Electric blue has stainless bezel which should be heavier than aluminum of the Bond. But logistically Bond I think is heavier from bracelet alone
