Link Thickness?

A topic I never see around is link thickness. There’s case thickness which we all know but I feel link thickness also adds to comfort and weight. Anyone know where I can find info on the thickness of a Sub bracelet or a seamaster?

I was hoping that you were going the opposite direction. I don't understand why bracelets are so thick and heavy when mankind used to know how to make them deliciously thin and light.

I think I misspoke. I meant I like thinner link thickness. I HATE those think and chunky links. Adds to weight and takes away from comfort and elegance imo.

I am afraid that nobody seems to be countering my suspicion that a couple decades ago and more both makers and consumers understood that minimal bulk was luxury and that the conventional wisdom has been perverted to value mass over craftsmanship and actual comfort.
