Fine Tissot, you Win

Y'all know me as the guy who clowned the 40mm PRX, it just didn't do it for me.

But there's something about the 35 that tickles my pickle. Can you forgive it's movement flaws and love this watch?

Lol. That's what he said....? 🤔🫣😉

But I would say the smaller size is very 👌🏻.

As usual, all very good points.

Will have to see the 35mm in the flesh to see if I like it. But, that vintage styling makes more sense at that size.

·

I Loved this piece when it was released but now with everybody and their mother doing the integrated bracelet thing it just falls flat

·

I would trade my 40mm for a 35mm in a heartbeat. Don’t have any issues with the movement.

·

Did you say tickle my pickle? 😂😂😂

Too easy of a set up. You get a pass on this. No jokes from me today 😂😂😂

Right? I have a 40mm Powermatic and I love everything about it but find it too big. I'd like to get a 35mm. Actually, that's not true. What I would like to do is find a way to trade my 40mm with a 35mm so that I don't spend money yet again on "just one more watch".

Yeah I’m one and done with integrated bracelets too. The 40mm PRX (I called it “Pricks”) is right at the edge for me as the first links at the lug has no articulation.

On the bright side, it does draw attention to it.

It wears bigger than a 35 without integrated bracelet. A pleasant surprise

I'm also done with integrated bracelets. I got two. That's enough. That said, no one gives the PRX enough credit for how good that bracelet bounces light. Shimmers and shines. I'm mesmerized by it especially under the sun even a year of owning it later.

One of those trends I just don't get.

For me the best integrated bracelet watch is the Oris Aquis - I just ain't a fan of the whole Genta craze.

Dang it! You beat me to the Archer reference! Nicely done!

I had to compose my thoughts before I posted my take:

It's a very nice watch. For me the only problem I have is size and bracelet. For me a 35mm gets lost on my thick 8 in wrist. I know it works well for most. They do have a 40mm but....the bracelet is the nail in the coffin for me. I'm a strap whore. Yes strap whore lol. I can't lay down a custom strap on this little guy. I love changing up the look and feel of a watch.

All around it's for someone else and I can see why.

Enjoy that watch!

Cheers

What’s wrong with the movement? Decent enough ETA, no? If you don’t like the movement you could always do what I did and get the more accurate version of the 35mm. 😛

I‘d say it wears more like a 37 mm watch. The slimmer bracelet works wonders 👍

·

I dont mind the movement so far. Its been with me over a year and have no problems. Keeping -3 seconds per day. The 40mm fits me ok as well.

I do enjoy your videos good sir

·

Personally its one of my favs. Only been in the watch game maybe a year and a half and def love this one more than some others...

Sorry to bug,how tall is he?how do you like the leather?

About my height 6’4” or maybe slightly shorter 6’3”. I personally love the leather the most. Most people tell me the sail cloth looks better though.

There was always something about the dimensions of the PRX that put me off. The new release is awesome. If Tissot can master Titanium at Casio or Citizen pricing for watches in that metal look out! BTW the Eva Longoria reference was not lost on me 😎

I'm just not feeling it. If you want that 70's Genta style you can get an Omega Megaquartz or Seiko Speedy for similar money. Both are plentiful, easy to own, and repairable.

I’m with ya .love my PRX’s

I think 40mm, maybe 39 and sometimes 41 is the perfect size for new watches. I like a substantial amount of crafted alloy but there is a limit. I can’t stand plastic. It’s cheap and will always be so.

·

I have both the 40 and 35mm quartz version.

I prefer the 35.

Why did you go with the automatic over the quartz? Was it for the dial or do you prefer the movement?
