I use a smartwatch when I have a busy day in work and I need to stay connected, but I never feel it like a watch, is more like a cell phone extension, at least for me there is no feeling, if it becomes obsolete, change it and that's it(I changed it 3 times already), on the other hand, you wear watches by combining them with the way you feel and the clothes you decide to wear, mechanical watches feel like a mixture of nostalgia and magic, and today they even serve to remind you that you are free without ties to your cell phone.
The only thing I would add to your comment is that this watch still blows my mind, the effort they made to make it functional in such a small size at that time is incredible.
