Amazingly enough, my collection has remained the same for the past 5 months... but I've saved a bit more to fill this last spot. I'm now looking for something in the $1000-$1500 range to sort of cap off the collection. And no, I'm not getting a bigger box (for now). And yes, I'm still ok with spending less. What are your thoughts in that range? I received some great recommendations a few months ago and always love what this group has to say! GMT? Pop of color? Vintage? Flieger? Chrono? Looking forward to discussing...
Current collection:
Baltic Aquascaphe / Halios Universa / Farer Stanhope 2 / G-shock / Khaki Field (considering replacing with pilot pioneer) / Dresskx (considering baby alpinist) / Brew Retrograph

I would go for a dress watch or colorful diver/dive style gmt
Part of why I'm thinking about the Hamilton Pilot Pioneer... but also have also had an eye Laco.

Yesss! Have considered Nomos Club Campus for a bit of a splurge as well as Traska GMT... anything specific you had in mind?
A Lorier would fit nice among your other pieces. Perhaps the Astra.

Can't tell you how many times I've visited their site... So many nice options.
A Lorier Zypher or a similar small dress watch would look great there, nice collection
There are some vintage complication like alarms, jumping hours or try a seiko enamel dial for a bit of hand made 🙂 lovely collection so far!
Vintage omegas are nice too at that price range, quirky 70s chronograph or a cw twelve/prx?
How about a Christopher Ward C63 sealander GMT?
I think it falls nicely within the range listed.

Definitely... or the Astra as mentioned above. Hmmmm. Although, if it's too dressy, it'll end up being neglected.

I know! For some reason, I'm slow to jump on the CW train. Have only heard good things.

Thanks! Yeah, I've look at vintage a bit. But maybe need to look more.
This reminds me of my collection with just white and black dials. What about something from Farer with a bit of color?
That is a micro brand collection I can aspire to!
Have you considered a Nodus? The Sector Pilot would fill the perceived gap in the pilot’s watch category nicely.
Maybe the blue dial though. Add a bit of color to the collection. 😉

Agreed that I need some color... Pretty happy with my Stanhope so maybe someone new for color... Nomos or Lorier or ??

I've actually considered their GMT... but this is nice too!
you seem to like microbrands. would you consider a christopher ward diver?
Edit: bunch of other comments recommended cw!
Definitely the most recommended on this thread... I was on their site yesterday.
What a great collection, loving the brew and farer 🤌
Studio underd0g, abit of fun and pop of colour ?

I have considered them... seems like they've been sold out for a bit. Right now leaning towards a blue nomos club campus, but we shall see.

The white dial is on my list 🤌 beautiful watch, great movement 👌
Without a doubt, a gmt
A Longines Hydroconquest that I will sell you
All of the brands you own I would recommend. Certina DS, Rado Captain Cook, Hanhart, Sinn are worth looking at for a balanced new edition.
Something with a splash of color?
Hi, nice collection and I see you have a fav or mine in the GShock. I don't see a chronograph or a dress watch but for half your price range the Tissot Gentlemen would fit nicely and comes in leather bracelet plus other options. I wouldn't suggest the PRX because I don't feel it is as versatile.
Ask yourself what story you are telling. What’s the North Star of your collection journey? If you can’t answer that question, you should buy something that you want but are afraid to wear.

Right now the blue/purple nomos club campus is a front runner.

Considering the club campus which I think could be dressed up if needed... but I also feel that way about my Farer.

Interesting thought.

I'll say this whichever you decide on you'll know it. Any hesitation and it's not the one to get.
Great collection! Love the universa! I'll say vintage charm wouldn't hurt! Vintage omega seamaster / constellation 👌
