Yes, the divers were japanese sourced case and movements. Some models i think were assembled/source in what was west germany back then
Interesting, my oldest caravelle diver is from 1969, wonder if they were just testing if they could get away with "waterproof" on their dial in the late 1960s. The information is much appreciated friend!
