You should give us some context as to what you are posting. Is this a logo for a store front? Is it going on a business card? T-shirt ? TBH that dog has a sad look.

Hound dogs usually look sad. This is a logo to be put on dials, casebacks, ect.

I am taking the liberty to give you some constructive criticism of your logo. Please do not take it the wrong way. When I look at my watch in the morning and slap it on my wrist, I want a positive feeling. I want to feel motivated to go tackle the challenges of the day. I am not sure I want to look at a sad face. You might love Hound dogs, but obviously I know nothing about them. May be redo the logo to send a positive image/feeling.

I respect any feedback. Thank you for that. It happens to be the dog I grew up with. They have that droopy face, and their happiness is read through their tail than their facial expressions. I know a hound dogs isn't everyones cup of tea. I've entertained the idea of using different dog for different models maybe.
In my opinion the first design is better but in that first design the dogs ear looked off to me (cant explain why). Also i believe its better just to have HUNDUHR on the dial under the 12 o'clock and the dogs head on the caseback. I like the idea of having different dogs on the caseback of different models, you can even name the models after the dogs.

I actually think you nailed it on the original logo! Why change what looks awesome already?
