As other chaps have said the Tudor is better built than the older explorer you are looking at. You already own it and it's your favourite.

I would be as torn as you. I love field watches and I have two tudors and a Rolex already. The Ranger is one of my favourites but do is the modern explorer.

I would stay as you are. It would be different if you didn't already own the Ranger. Then I would save for an Explorer.

Sorry I have been no help at all! But it's a nice problem to have!
