I also have a Svalbard 24hr, but with a different dial. Have you been happy with the quality of yours?
Unfortunately, I have not been happy with mine. Feels like it was made with lesser quality materials, and is almost impossible to set with any accuracy. Get the hands in place, and soon as I push in the crown, they move.
It’s a shame. I loved the dial and wire lugs, and really wanted a dedicated 24hr dial.
In short, some do, most don't. As many others have said before me, those who care are thieves, looking to take them from those who care about them, and those of us who like them and look for them in the wild. The rest probably don't see them at all.
I actually bought it on Chrono24 with the bracelet and wore it that way for quite a while, but the bug to get the strap got me to eventually buy it. Every time I put it back on the bracelet, I’m reminded why I love the strap so much. Even though I’ve given my CW Twelve Ti a lot of wrist time since I got it, because of how light and thin it is, I find this one almost as comfortable on the strap.
I bought my Ti Twelve due to the specs at the right price. I wouldn’t say it’s unique so much, but for the beautiful dial, titanium case, COSC certified movement (with date at 6), thinness, and great lume, it just had so many things I was looking for in a single piece, at a more reasonable price.
