Fabrik GMT - Model 1

I've been wanting one of their watches and something with a purple dial too... and I love GMTs. Still can't decide if I want this or one of their green vitreous dials.

This is going to sound snotty, and it isn’t intended that way: How possible will it be to actually GET one of these? Does putting oneself on a waiting list for an AnOrdain actually end up with a person getting the watch they want?

Your question doesn't sound snotty at all. From what I think I understand at this point, if you've put up some money to reserve a build slot of your choice, once that slot is open, that money is put towards the purchase of the model of your choice. I guess they did this because their dials take a long time to make and they had a lot of "I want that model", but then people would back out when it came time to actually pay for it. This way there is more incentive for the buyer to follow through with the purchase they wanted. Anyone, feel free to correct me on this if necessary.
According to their site, this particular model won't be limited, so when your slot comes up, you should be able to get it.

I'm also a green guy. I love seeing what the different brands come up with.
I love that they are making a GMT that fixes my biggest issue with most GMTs, the GMT hand won't interfere with the primary time telling hands/indexes.
I'm pleased they are increasing their variety. However, I am wondering what happened to the Model 3? Wasn't that supposed to be released and available to order for those on the wait list this year?
