Do you like mesh braclets?

Lately, I’ve been giving these a shot on a few of my watches. I’ve so far been quite impressed by how comfortable they are. I can’t stand it when my watch sticks to my wrist, so I normally wear them a bit loose, but then they become too loose when my wrist shrinks. I find this happens much less often when paired with mesh braclets since they’re so breathable. My wife thinks they look too “old”, but I don’t care. The comfort is worth it to me.

What do you think?

Absolutely like mesh bracelets especially on my SM300 homage

I like them on some watches, but not all watches.

So I can't answer the limited choice poll. Or if given the option I can choose both

I love them.

I said no purely as Ive not seen one that follows the curve of the watch case and only have seen cheap ones . I actually like the look of shark mesh and millanese types if only I saw a good quality one maybe 🤔

Sometimes it feels a bit dressy and less utilitarian, but overall I like it alot!

Omega style shark mesh, is great on some watches. Milanese always sucks.

One issue, at least on some of the mesh on the cheaper end of the spectrum that I am accustomed to, is that it only wants to flex in one plane. When your writst tapers like mine, that makes the mesh somewhat unforgiving. One side of the watch is a bit tight, the other side a bit loose, so my wrist has to conform to the strap and not the strap conform to me. Bracelets generally have a bit more play and wiggle room between the links to fit my taper.

The mesh exception is the so-called "heavy duty" sharkmesh which has enough play between the individual little links to fit me better.

The heavy duty aspect also implies heavy weight which is fairly true in my experience. However, it is hard to beat the HD mesh for breatheabiltiy. This also means it can dry out quickly after a dunking.

One of these days I'll get around to sandblasting this cheap 18mm mesh so it matches the finish on my SNK809.
