That's right. I do love a game within a game and (hey @DeeperBlue can you weigh in on the WatchCrunch Gods that be to get me that sweet sweet GameMaster badge?)

In addition to the Wise Adamascus AD8 you all are so generously anteing up for, the person who stakes the single most to the charity of their choice (backed up by receipts of course), wins a beautiful vintage gold Zodiac Olympos mystery dial from the 1960s.

Keeps within about 45 seconds a day with absolutely perfect vintage proportions (36mm wing to wing, 41mm lug to lug, 10.5mm height of which 3mm is domed acrylic and 18mm lug widths).

It is immaculate.

@SpecKTator is in the current lead with a $250 donation to the Hawaii Community Foundation to assist with the rebuilding of Maui after the devastating fires earlier this year but @TimeIsOnMySide is in a close second with a $184.50 donation to United Hatzalah, a volunteer based emergency medical services organization serving Israel (and the surrounding region too).

Let the real games begin!

Oh, and for those of you who haven't entered yet, still plenty of time! Raffle will be run at noon pacific time on 10/20/23!

Oh...for a moment there I thought you're asking us to up our ante...

For me...well, I'll just let my dear nephew demonstrate.

Come on you crazy people...that watch is straight class. The causes are even more important. Let's do it.

Oh boy!

Well, I’ve had a busy week. I only submitted one of my donations from this week. Here are my others. I had trouble finding the emails, so I’m sending my credit card confirmations.

$360 to ou-jlic that was collecting for the victims of the terror attack in Israel.

$184.50 to Amit Children who were collecting to provide mental health counseling to the students in their schools in Israel.

$180 to the Jewish National Fund who among other things plants trees in Israel

$102.50 to Amit Children again to help the children of Israel.

You may see a theme here. Keep in mind that not only are they all registered as 501(c)(3) charities, they assist people regardless of religion or race.

Another $100 donation today to OneFamily who provides social services to victims of terror in Israel. Email is in Hebrew. Translation is roughly:

“ on behalf of one family and on behalf of all the victims of terrorism, we wanted to thank you for your generous contribution for assistance and support for victims of terrorism and their families. Thanks to you association is mobilized to help the victims of terrorism, both on the financial level, and on the mental personal and supportive level, our main mission is to alleviate the pain and suffering that has become a daily reality for many of us.”

My secret goal is to relieve all of you watch nerds of your extra pocket money (for a good cause of course! )

Needless to say, I am very pleased how this has all gone.🥳

For the sake of fairness, I'm only going to include donations that happened after October 16th which is when this strange raffle began.

Still that puts you at $284.50, $35 ahead of at @SpecKTator.

For now. 😈

All to play for!

  1. wow that is an awesome watch, I love the case. You have great taste my friend

  2. Let's just take a moment to appreciate the fact you are utilising the watch community to generate donations to charity. Props to you for making the world a better place

Is there a way to bump this so it gets seen by more people? Although I’d love to win the raffle, the main purpose is to get people to give to charity. Any amount gets you a raffle ticket. Come on crunchers, give a little for the chance to win.

I'm open to ideas. Shortcoming of the Instagram style feed I suppose.

I'd only say repost the link and a quick description in your WRUWs (which get the most traffic for the lowest effort)

Which link do you want to use, the first one or this one?

I was originally going to post the winners in the original thread, but it just got super unwieldy, so see the link to the separate post below!
