Scavenger Hunt: The Escape
You feel the breath of air on your face as the lift doors open and the bright light makes you reluctant to open your eyes.
Hands grab your wrists and you feel yourself being pulled along the floor, out of the elevator and back into the brightly lit mall where this all began.
"Hey!.... Hey....!"
You hear a familiar voice and cautiously blink open your eyes....
"Hey Max!" You reply.
"Hey man! By the time I got to the Mall for the meet up it'd all gone crazy.... cops everywhere! The AD guy had managed to escape through the vents and told us what you guys were trying to do. That's crazy man. I can't believe you actually did it! There are a load of army guys getting ready to distribute that vaccine you brought up already.
Well done man. You guys are heroes."
Max: "While these guys are sorting out the vaccine, do you and the team fancy heading back to the AD to finish checking out those watches?"
Your team limp back to the AD and collapse on the sofas and chairs in the backroom.
The ADs assistant greets you... "I heard what you guys did down there.... zombies, Game of Thrones, My Little Pony.... that's insane... thank heavens you kept your heads and got through it! Here... you've earned these!" She hands you an ice cold beer.
You take a long drink, sit back on the sofa and close your eyes. Enjoying the feeling of relaxation for the first time in weeks.

Everyone has been completely amazing in the Hunt this year! It's actually been a challenge keeping up with you all!
'Post a picture of you taking a selfie dressed as a My Little Pony'. I honestly thought this would mark the end for a lot of you.
A high percentage of people dropped out in the first couple of weeks, but after that we seemed to get down to the hardcore group who were in it for the long haul.
Picture of a horse, photo with a sandwich, this time frame, that time frame, bombs, red herrings, hallucinogens.... 😂
Of course, you all rose to the challenges admirably.
You have no idea the amount of time I had to put in from my end to try and keep ahead of you guys!
Opening week, when I put up that first challenge, I actually had the whole month planned in advance.
A few days in and I quickly realised you guys were going to smoke through my challenges in super quick time 🤦.
Lift / Elevator Week (With the LSD) was the final test to see how motivated you were to get through as a team, and you smashed it!

It was indeed 4 weeks of madness I never thought it would come to. It was also very fun and hilarious to see all the same grown men in pinky pink outfits and next moment in battle fatigues. I was developing a paranoia for those Flash Challenges, staying up all night and early mornings because when I was ready to hunt, almost everyone were asleep (I'm GMT +8). So thanks Kaysia and Greg for all that. Will I do it all over again? Absolutely, without a blink of my Mascara Eye.

Honestly the pony thing might have knocked a bunch of us out. But once we realized it was a challenge to help or hurt each other, that sealed it. By the time we got through our individual team challenges in week three I think we had become dedicated enough to each other that none of us were gonna let the others down. “If I die that’s fine but I can’t let my team become zombie meat.”
