I don't know if I can put it into words as to why I think it's "ugly".

4:30 date on a date only watch... why?? the entire thing just looks like an MVMT watch.

This AP Code chrono is ~$50k... The font is uninspiring. Ultimately looks like a Tommy Hilfiger watch.

I wouldn't be mad at the Tommy Hilfiger because it's for $50, but for $50,000?!

Personal preference, but I think the 54 is worse than the 58 😬

Audemar Piguet Code 11.59 was so and still is "ugly" to me. This also further proved to my own point that they are one watch company.

Is Watchbox an AD? I always thought Watchbox was strictly a pre-owned dealer, I know they had a merge with an AD recently, but I'm not sure on the technicals. I think for the GS9 club, they are really strict on purchasing new from AD.

It does suck though, I can totally understand. I tried joining an Oris Social Club on Facebook, but my application got rejected 😢.

What if the date was an entire hand itself? 😎

commented on For god's sake, can we finally put a fork in it? AKA, putting an end to threads about "which watch is a better investment?" or "which watch will hold its value better?" ·

Just got me to thinking, if a watch were to be an heirloom, then the resale value of the watch wouldn't matter, because it (in theory) will never be sold/leave the family.

Of course, unless your name is Paul Newman 🤯.

O wow, this watch's black and sleekness gives it a modern Movado Museum Watch feel with probably a bit more function and flexibility to be worn in more situations. Upgrade on the movement to Selitta, Timex is doing things for sure.

Happy Retirement!
